Background

Work that matters takes a toll on the people doing it.

Innovative Complex Management does work that is genuinely rewarding and genuinely demanding. Holding space for clients with complex needs means staff carry weight that can build quietly over time. This proposal is about giving your team practical, evidence-based ways to keep doing that work without losing themselves in it.

Innovative Complex Management is an NDIS-registered provider specialising in support coordination and case management for individuals with complex needs. Your team works alongside clients living with acquired brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, dual disabilities, mental health challenges and substance use issues. From hospital-to-home transitions through to crisis intervention and therapy coordination, this is work that requires high skill, deep empathy and constant adjustment.

You have told us that although the work is satisfying, it is also stressful, confronting and demanding. That combination creates a real risk of burnout, stress and job dissatisfaction. Beyond the individual cost to staff, this has implications for retention and for your capacity to grow and meet demand.

"Dana wants a training plan offered yearly to prevent burnout and help support the team’s needs, alongside individual sessions available as needed."

This proposal sets out three ways Coachling can support your team across a 7-month engagement, combining group learning, refresher touchpoints and individual coaching. Each option is calibrated to a different level of customisation and investment, so you can choose the fit that works for Innovative.

The team

Support coordinators and case managers working with clients who carry significant complexity.

The timeline

Delivered across a 7-month window, with the option of a single workshop or a multi-session program.

The setting

Face-to-face in Melbourne is the preference, with online as a flexible alternative where that works better.

Our approach

Practical psychology, applied to the realities of your work.

Coachling sits at the intersection of clinical psychology and workplace coaching. We work with people in roles like yours every week, and we know that good content alone does not shift behaviour. Sessions are designed to feel useful in the moment and to give your team tools they will actually reach for on a hard Wednesday afternoon.

Evidence-based

Grounded in psychological models including ACT, CBT and positive psychology, adapted for group learning.

Tailored where it matters

Our richer options include co-design so the language, examples and case studies reflect the work your team actually does.

Group plus individual

Workshops build shared language. Individual coaching gives staff a confidential space when they need it.

Program options

Three ways forward, calibrated to fit.

All three options cover the topic set you asked for: burnout prevention, growth mindset, stress and resilience, strategies for work and working from home, self-reflection and personal development. What differs is how deeply we tailor the content, how many touchpoints we build in across the 7 months, and how many individual coaching sessions are available to your staff.

Option 2 · Balanced

Targeted program

A workshop built from our existing knowledge base of work with similar teams, with a lighter design phase and one refresher session at the three-month mark. A strong middle path when full co-design is not needed but you still want the depth of a workshop and a follow-up.

A note on sharing

If this resonates beyond Innovative…

The topics in this program are widely relevant to other providers in your sector. We have built in a way to recognise that.

15%
Referral commission

Should you choose to recommend this workshop to other providers, Coachling is open to a commission arrangement. Innovative will receive 15% of the delivery fee for each half-day workshop, or each completed series of four one-hour online sessions, that runs based on your recommendation.

It is a small way of acknowledging the role you play in connecting good work to teams that need it.

What happens next

Four steps to get the program running.

If you have a preferred option, we can move quickly. The steps below are how a typical engagement unfolds, with timing flexible to fit your operational rhythm.

Step 01

Step 02

We design the program. For Option 1, this includes co-design interviews with you and a small number of team members.

Step 04

Deliver across 7 months

Workshop, refresher sessions and individual coaching, with check-ins from us along the way to keep things on track.
